Got a call from someone claiming to be an energy advisor for the local neighbourhood. They were asking after someone by name and wanted to check if a particular house had cavity wall insulation. Since I don’t know the person or the place, it felt odd they expected me to have that info. Might’ve been a case of them getting the wrong number or confusing me with someone else. Either way, it was a random call I didn’t ask for. Blocked straight away.

I picked up but there was nothing but silence on the other end. I ended the call, and they never tried ringing me back. I’ve now blocked the number.
