The call was quite muffled, with a sort of echo to it. I could hear numerous voices chattering away in the background. They kept repeating 'hello', but then all of a sudden the line went dead.

Got a ring from this number saying I’d been involved in a car crash. Never even been near one! Then they started talking about compensation - total con if you ask me. The bloke on the other end spoke with a really strong Liverpool accent. As soon as I told him I knew he was trying to scam me, he just hung up straight away.
