9 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be First Call Accident Service, the number was from Darlington which caught my attention since that’s where I’m from. They said they’re involved with something called the 'vehicle accident database' and wanted to check if all was fine with a no-fault car accident I supposedly had in the last couple of years. Turns out, a neighbour's car rolled down the street and hit mine while I was in bed - luckily no one was hurt. I asked if they were connected to my insurer or some official authority, but they weren't. After that, they just ended the call.First Call Accident ServiceDarlington9 yearsGot a call from someone claiming to be First Call Accident Service, asking if I'd made any claims in the past couple of years. Complete nonsense, of course. These annoying claims calls drive me nuts - seriously, why isn’t it against the law?First Call Accident Service9 yearsGot a call on my mobile this evening, they were asking for my missus. They somehow made it look like a local landline number from around here. Said it was regarding an accident she was involved in or something. I gave them an earful and told them in no uncertain terms where they could shove it. Tried calling them back later to remind them where else to send their nonsense, but the number just wouldn’t go through.9 yearsPicked up a call from a local number and the bloke on the other end sounded Irish and already knew my first name. He claimed it was about a recent accident I’d supposedly been in, and insisted it wasn’t a sales pitch. I asked him to give me the date of the accident before I’d carry on. Guess he forgot his notes somewhere, because that was the end of that convo! Honestly, insurers and these cold callers are just as bad, selling your info left and right - total pain in the neck.9 yearsSome woman with a strong Scouse accent rang up asking for my son's name. When I asked who was on the line, she just said, "Oh, it’s Ross!" I explained that Ross is a bloke’s name and I’m actually a woman. Then she went on and on about some supposed car crash he’d been in. I told her to buzz off and never ring me again!Ross9 yearsGot a call from some ambulance chaser. Proper annoying woman from Liverpool, rude as anything. She just wouldn’t accept the word NO. Such a daft woman!10 yearsGot a call today about a "recent road traffic accident" and how I was "dealing with it". The only accident I've had was like four years back and was all handled by the insurance company ages ago. These sorts of calls are getting really annoying...RTA10 yearsThey said they were from First Call, just ambulance chasers really. Can’t stand those irritating idiots who think it’s alright to call you at any hour, day or night. Honestly, I hope some real bad luck falls on all of them.Submit Your Own Report (01325 527279)
