Fraudulent activity!

I just started running a Bing ad that keeps my business near the top of search results for half a year. Every time I look, my ad's still up there. Honestly, if I'd come across this site ages ago, I wouldn't have wasted money on Infoserve scamming me.

Honestly, I can't praise Search Engine Guru enough. After a nearby firm, Infoserve, kept falling short and just kept wanting more cash without results, Search Engine Guru stepped in and really hooked us up. Their marketing know-how is top notch, and since they took charge, our business has been growing non-stop. They've always been quick to give advice and support whenever we needed it. Massive thanks to them!

At first I was quite anxious when I got a call from them and did a quick search online, only to find this page full of bad reviews. But after chatting with my account manager, I found out most of those nasty comments were actually left by a rival marketing company nearby, who seem to hold a grudge for some reason. I’d say businesses should be careful not to trust the competitors’ rubbish. Anyone can post whatever they want! These people have tons of honest feedback from real businesses all over the internet. Honestly, I’d recommend giving them a shot!

For a couple of days I kept ringing all 4 of their numbers and not a single one picked up. Sounds like some dodgy back bedroom operation to me.

They said they were with Bing, but when I threw some tech questions at them, they couldn’t really give me any solid answers. I'd be careful, wouldn't put my trust in them.

Avoid this company at all costs! They rang me claiming to work for BING and guaranteed to rank my website on page one for four keywords. They said they'd email me a contract, but after taking payment over the phone, they vanished completely with no contract or results. When I requested proof of their claims, 'Mike' sent me a bogus screenshot which was clearly made up. They say they have multiple landlines, yet no one ever picks up when you call. Most of their Google reviews seem fake, which probably explains how they managed to trick me. Total scam.

Loads of people have said this already, but it really feels like a bit of a scam. The bloke kept saying he was ringing ‘for Bing’ - which I asked about and he got all dodgy. When I tried to ask about the search stuff, he admitted he wasn’t senior enough to do anything about it. Proper strange behaviour. In the end, he just hung up on me.

Got a call from some dodgy firm trying to flog Bing ads that are way overpriced. Total waste of time.

I’ve had a really bad experience with Search Engine Guru - they’re totally dodgy and proper rude too. We kept getting loads of annoying calls off them, so I ended up reporting them to Ofcom. I’m Mr Edwards, and I run a plumbing business in Sheffield, just so you know.

You dont get something for nothing these days, right? Got a call about updating my local directory or something, sounded dodgy straight away. I didn’t buy into the whole “free” thing and ended the call quick. Makes you think though - why would anyone do that for nowt? They’ve gotta get paid somehow!

They gave me a hand with my local listings without charging a penny, defo not some kind of scam.

Got a call trying to push Bing ads on me, but the price seemed way too high. When I asked for more details, they were really dodgy and kept things super unclear.

I got a call saying they were from the TPS, but it felt like a scam just tryna get my details. Definitely be careful, might be phishing for your info.

Just thought I’d see who was ringing from this number around here. Seemed like a good idea to verify it’s local before calling back.

I’ve contacted the ICO and TPS about this number 0303 123 1113, they’re gathering complaints on this company now. Seems like they’ve already received quite a few reports from other people.

Dodgy lot! Infoserve’s actually taking them to court over trying to poach clients that Rich Hargreaves handled when he was with them. Anyone leaving nice reviews? Totally fake, it’s laughable how they’ve dropped good feedback on a site where people complain about calls. Would I trust Nicola Taylor or Mikey Weston? Not a chance!

Got a call from them saying they wanted to assist with my local business listing on the internet. At first I was really unsure, since a lot of firms have tried this with me before just to flog a product. But these lot genuinely helped! They did mention a service to boost my online rankings, but they weren’t pushy or annoying about it. I said no, but I ended up ringing them back because they were polite and gave me useful tips. Now, thanks to them, my business shows up on the first page across all search sites. I’d definitely suggest having a chat with them!

So I got a call from these folks and they ended up fixing all my local listings for me, without charging a penny. Honestly, it wasn’t like those usual pushy sales calls you get. Definitely not a scam or anything sneaky like that.

i found them pretty useful, so i'd suggest giving them a shout if you need help.

Mike Spooner and Nicky Taylor run this shady operation that’s nothing but a scam. Avoid their services at all costs. If you want the truth, get in touch with Derek Oliver, the director over at Infoserve, and he’ll fill you in on how those two stole customer info and clients while they were working there. From what I’ve heard, the ICO is investigating them for data theft right now. Ask around anyone who knows them and you’ll get the full story. You can ring Infoserve on 0800 089 0879 if you want to hear it straight from the source. Consider this your warning.

Got a call claiming they needed to verify details for a business listing they'd supposedly received. They kept asking to speak directly to the owner and wouldn’t accept speaking to anyone else, even though there was a marketing rep right there. Sounded pretty pushy and like they were just after info to maybe sell on. I wouldn’t bother picking up if I were you.
