For ages now I’ve been getting these calls, usually just once or twice each month. But today, I've had two calls back to back - one claimed to be from a taxi firm, the other said they were from RTA claims. I know neither of those places would just ring you out of the blue, so I told them that and they hung up sharpish. I tried to sign up to the TPS through a link I found online, but the site warned me it wasn’t secure - there wasn’t even a padlock next to the web address, so I didn’t go any further. Does anyone know a proper safe way to register?

Got a call from someone claiming to be "Friendly Advice". They reckoned I’d been in a car crash that wasn’t my fault. I asked who told them that and when the accident supposedly happened, then they just dropped the call. I’ve blocked the number now and reported it to the TPS.
