Had a call from a lady with an Asian-sounding accent, really hard to understand, claiming she was from TalkTalk’s tech team. When I rang TalkTalk myself, they insisted they never make unsolicited calls like that! I told her "Yeah right, I’m not daft" and slammed the phone down. Blocked the number straight away. Definitely a scam. My question is, why can’t good old BT just shut these dodgy numbers down and help keep us safe? Guess maybe it’s because there’s no cash in it for them!

Someone rang me claiming to be from Virgin Media. I just hung up and blocked the number straight away.

Got a call from someone pretending to be from TalkTalk. I said I'd grab the person who pays the bill, and right after that, he just hung up on me.
