I didn't hesitate to end the conversation right then and there. Problem was he couldn’t actually say who made the fridge. When I asked, he just gave me a wrong brand and then started accusing me of not telling the truth when I corrected him. He got pretty annoyed when I didn’t fall for it.

Got a call from a bloke who sounded Asian, and he used my partner's last name but added "Mrs" before it. I could tell right away it was one of those cold calls. I just told him no, he had the wrong person and then ended the call.

Got a call about extending the warranty on my TV, but they literally had no clue what kind of TV I own. Total spam, obviously. Just blocked the number straight away.

It took ages for them to come up with a name, which I've now forgotten, and they never actually mentioned any company name. I called them out straight away, said it sounded like a scam to me.
