I got a call from someone who said they were with Amazon and told me that a £49 gift card had been bought using my account. They wanted me to go online and enter an IP address to stop the purchase. When I asked them what bank details they had, they said they couldn't share that info over the phone. I then told them I don’t even have an Amazon account or any gadgets connected to the internet, and suddenly they just ended the call.
