Got a phone call just after 2 in the afternoon, and the bloke on the line had a clear Indian accent. He oddly started off with "Good Morning," so I decided to mess about a bit. Told him it was actually afternoon here and asked where he was calling from. As usual, he launched into that boring spiel about "I have a special offer for you," and all that nonsense. I kept pretending I couldn't hear well, telling him to speak louder. Then I said he’d better ring my son (which I don’t have) since he supposedly pays the bill. Offered to give him the number, mentioning that maybe the son could get a good deal too. Added he'd need to call tomorrow because the son was on duty as a policeman until 10pm. Oddly enough, the guy just hung up. Funny how that worked. Need to grab a bottle of wine for the mate who suggested this trick - it actually stopped this tosser in his tracks!
