Someone said they were calling from some council I'd never heard of. I'm pretty sure it's just a load of spam.

i ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar and i don't know anyone or any company called ulties, plus i have no debts or anything connected with eastbourne which is quite far from where i live. lately ive had loads of strange calls from weird places, including manchester. is there some sort of spam increase going on? ive never had this many unknown callers before. this number seems dodgy and i couldnt find any company linked to it on google either. really wish i could find out who was behind it.

I picked up the phone and there was nothing but silence on the other end, then they just hung up. Not sure if they were trying to say something or if it was just a mistake.

Got a call from this number but when I said hello, there was total silence then they ended the call. About 20 minutes earlier, I had a similar call from somewhere around Manchester. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.
