picked up the phone and after a long pause, i heard loads of background noise like a call centre. this indian lady said she was veronica from amazon. she claimed someone was trying to open a new account in my name, which is odd since my amazon subscription’s already cancelled and blocked. when i asked for an email address to confirm, she just cut me off and ended the call.
