I got a call from someone pretending to be from my energy company. They started off asking if I handle the bills, which felt a bit odd, then suddenly said I needed a power of attorney, even though that makes no sense for my situation. They also told me I had to apply for some energy payment of £400, which seemed like total rubbish. Then they said a solicitor would ring me soon to deal with it all. Definitely sounds like a scam to me.
