The call came from a local Eastbourne number but was just a robotic voice, never saying which bank it was from, only calling itself "Bank Security." They claimed there were odd charges on my card for Amazon and some overseas transfer. They told me to press a button to chat with their advisors or a different one to cancel the payments. Definitely felt like one of those scam calls!

I received a call from a number that appears to be local to Eastbourne, but it was merely a pre-recorded message lacking any specific bank identification-just referred to as "Bank Security." The message claimed there were dubious transactions on my bank card linked to Amazon and an overseas money transfer. It urged me to either press a button to connect with their so-called team of advisors or another to halt the transactions. Definitely seems like a dodgy scam to me!
