I got a call about Amazon Prime too, once when I was in Birmingham and another time up here in the North West. It was a lady telling me to press a button to speak to someone from Amazon who’d stop the Prime payments. I actually had a free Amazon trial earlier this year, so it sounded kinda convincing. But if you switch to speakerphone, you can hear loads of guys chatting in what doesn’t quite seem like English. Makes me think maybe an ex-Amazon worker somehow gave these scammers info or something.

This number rang me a couple times while I was out. After looking it up, I found out it’s supposed to be pretty dodgy. Really appreciate the tips and info on ‘who called me’, cheers!

Got a call from someone who sounded like a scammer, never got any proper info from them. Just hanging up on dodgy numbers now, best not to trust these types.

I got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon saying my account was about to expire and I had to pay £39.99 to renew it. It sounded dodgy so I just hung up straight away.

My 89 year old mum got really upset again from some dodgy caller pretending to be from Amazon. I'm so sick of having to calm her down and telling her not to worry about these annoying calls. Its just really awful what they do. Shame on the lot of them.

I got a call from someone saying they were with Amazon, warning me that £39 would be taken from my account for a Prime renewal. I told them to jog on and ended the call right away cause it sounded totally dodgy to me.

01323370840 called me saying they were from Amazon and tried to get me to pay £39.99 a month for Prime, even though I don’t have a subscription with them. I double-checked my Amazon account and clearly didn’t have Prime. The person on the line, who sounded Asian, didn’t convince me and I told them I’d end the call, then hung up straight away. I reported it to Action Fraud, who said it’s a known scam. I live in Bridgwater as well, and it’s really worrying how these scammers get hold of our phone numbers!

Got a call from someone saying they were Amazon, telling me my Prime subscription is about to renew and they’d take £39 from my bank. Thing is, I’ve never even signed up for Prime - so it’s got scam written all over it. Be careful out there!

Got a call, nobody said a word on the other end. Pretty weird, just silence.

Got a dodgy call pretending to be from Amazon, saying it was my last chance to cancel Prime before they charged me £39.99. They told me to use the Amazon app right away. When I asked for a proper phone number to ring Amazon myself, the caller got all defensive and said why would I need that since she’d already called me. Then she gave me a number that didn’t seem to be real at all. Definitely a scam.

Somebody rang me claiming they were from Amazon, saying my subscription was about to end and about £39 would be taken from my account (can't quite recall the exact figure). Normally I wouldn't pick up, but they’d called about an hour earlier and I didn’t answer then, so I figured it might be legit. In the end, I just hung up straight away. Turns out it was clearly a scam.

Got a robo call saying they were Amazon Prime and wanted £39.99 to keep my account active. Thing is, I've never even signed up with Amazon before, so it was obvious it was a con. When I called it out as a scam, the person on the other end just ended the call.
