On 21 August 2015, I got a phone call from a woman claiming to represent First Call. She said I was owed extra compensation for a road accident I had years ago. The claim was actually sorted out a couple of years back though. When she mentioned the case had been handed over to them, I told her she already had all the details and that she should just speak with my solicitor who handled everything originally. Of course, she ended the call straight away! - caller ID showed First Call

Just had a call a moment ago from someone who said his name was Bob Roberts, sounded like he was from up north, maybe Geordie or something (not really sure, accents confuse me). I began telling him, "Well, I don't have a car, and also..." and he immediately cut me off and ended the call. I'm registered with the phone preference service, but these calls keep coming. Is there something else I can do to actually block them?

Received a call around half past five in the evening on the 5th of March 2015. When I questioned the caller since the name was unfamiliar, a woman named Addie from Albany Ins just disconnected the call. I’m baffled how they managed to get my number as I’m ex-directory. Really annoyed - caller ID showed Albany Ins.

Received a call from this number, but when we attempted to return the call, there was no answer whatsoever. Quite odd, really!
