I've had this company call me repeatedly claiming I was in an accident and that if I gave them some details, they'd send me a cheque for £3500. We kept telling them there was no accident, but they were really pushy and wanted our car's registration number. They didn’t seem to have any info about when or where this accident supposedly happened, and even asked if I could look up paperwork from my insurance! How could I do that when there was no accident at all? They’re super persistent with their calls and won’t take no for an answer. Feels like a total scam, especially since they don’t actually know the facts. It’s getting really annoying now.
