Got a call from a woman pretending to be from BT Openreach, claiming they’d had reports about viruses on my internet recently. We chatted a bit, and then she asked me to sit by my computer and log onto a certain website so she could fix it. I told her I don’t even have BT internet, and that it was clearly a scam. That’s when she started yelling “shut up, you b****” at me over and over before hanging up. I’ve had those sorts of calls before, but never had anyone get so abusive. Pretty awful experience.
