I didn’t pick up cause my phone showed it was a spam caller. But if you do end up talking to them, just say you don’t want life insurance as you’re really ill and don’t have much time left. I said that to one person who called me and they hung up straight away - job done!

Got a call from this number and the guy was rude, calling me naive and stupid for not wanting to talk about my policy. Even when I said maybe it was him being unreasonable, he kept insisting my policy was rubbish. Honestly, the only thing rubbish was how he spoke to me. Total waste of time. Got a call from these "Life Assessment Team" people saying they could lower my life insurance costs. I told them to take me off their list, but they kept ringing. When I asked for a manager, I was told if I felt all clever and powerful for possibly costing a bloke his job and his family’s income. Then the manager popped on and tried to pitch the same deal again!

As soon as I picked up, they just hung up. I usually take these calls and have a bit of fun when I’m bored. I reckon while I’m yapping away, it means that bot or whatever isn’t bugging some other poor sod for half an hour. You’d be amazed at the stories you can make up, it’s like a little bit of pretending - you can be whoever you want, like a proper catfish!
