Honestly, why don't these types try to find a proper job, maybe join the JSO or something?

I got a call claiming to be from the parent company of O2 saying they could cut my bill in half. When I asked why this deal wasn’t offered in-store, they said it’s only something you can get over the phone. They mentioned I’ve had my contract for a while (which is only a few months), and when I asked about that, they quickly changed the subject. Plus, I heard a man’s voice quietly in the background, which made the whole call feel even dodgier.
