I received a voice message from an unknown number asserting that significant amounts of money were being doled out. It instructed me to press certain digits, supposedly to connect with the caller—"press 1 to chat with us" and so on. I’m quite convinced it’s a scam aimed at extracting personal information or funds, or perhaps even both.
