Has anyone ever picked up when this number rings? I got a couple of missed calls from it, and I’m guessing it might be some automated call centre or a robo call just checking if my number’s active. I usually don’t pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognise, and they didn’t leave any voicemail either. I tried searching online to find out who it could be, but couldn’t find anything useful. Should I be worried this is some kind of scam?

i keep getting nonstop calls from this place called uncle buck finance or something like that. they always hide their real number and use loads of different ones so you can't really block them easily. all their numbers seem to redirect to some collections dept. i’ve started blocking every number i can but they just keep finding new ones. when i ask who exactly they are, they just say "ub" and nothing more. if you ask for their full company name, corporate registration or any sort of ico or fca details, they quickly dodge the questions. really annoying!
