To my surprise, it was Carphone Warehouse on the other end, informing me that my mobile phone contract had come to an end-though that’s simply not true! They asked if I’d be interested in taking out a new contract with them. I courteously declined and ended the call while the representative was still speaking. Later that evening, they tried ringing me again, but I chose not to answer.
