Got a call at 7:22 in the morning from a number I didn’t recognise. After a bit of silence, an Asian accent asked if Mrs Williams was available. That was enough for me. I just hung up.

Got a call from a woman claiming to be with Microsoft, telling me my PC was hacked or something. The number started with 01322, which I know is Dartford. When I asked where she was calling from, she said Reading. Total scam right there. When I called her out on it, she got pretty nasty and started shouting at me. I just ended the call and ignored it.

Had the phone ring once more and as soon as I mentioned scam calls while picking up, the line just went dead! Feels awful that loads of folks keep getting hassled by these fraudsters. I reported it here but it seems to make no difference 😕

Got a call from some Asian folks who lied straight away. I told them it’s probably a scam and they should get a proper job, then they started threatening to block my computer or something. These are just crooks trying to take advantage of people who don’t really understand technology. Proper criminals if you ask me.

This Indian woman was really pushy and just wouldn’t accept me saying no. She kept claiming that I ended the call on her, and now she’s phoning me again asking why I didn’t want her to assist with my computer, even though I politely said no.

I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, insisting that my iPad was compromised. They provided a lengthy number that I jotted down before asking me to unlock my iPad so they could assist me in resolving this issue. They mentioned it would only take a couple of minutes. Feeling suspicious, I hung up, but they called me back three more times before finally giving up. Just thought I’d share this experience!

Got a call from a chap with a strong Asian accent, but his name sounded totally English, saying he was from Microsoft. He was really pushy, kept insisting I didn’t get the issue he said was messing up my computer. I asked him why Microsoft would ring me up instead of sending an email, especially since I use a VPN on my Apple Mac, and I couldn’t figure how anyone running a different operating system could be spotting fake issues like that. Only then did he hang up.

This bloke was really pushy, telling me straight away to get out of bed and switch on my computer. Proper demanding, like I had to obey what he said. Wouldn't take no for an answer or even bother with what me or my husband tried to say. Refused to answer any questions as well! So rude!

This number kept ringing me up on 01322 479900. Every time, I had to tell the guy with an Indian accent to quit calling as I wasn’t going to switch on my computer. He just wouldn’t listen. I told him I’d get in touch with Microsoft myself since they don’t make these sorts of calls. He kept saying I didn’t get it. He’s phoned me four times now, so I told him to stop. Proper irritating.

Got a call off a woman saying she was from Microsoft, telling me hackers from Russia had taken over my computer and were using my personal details, so I could be accused of crimes. She asked me to switch my PC on (which I refused), and then faked giving me my Microsoft licence number to prove she was legit. Seemed really sketchy so I just ended the call.
