got a call about life insurance, never asked for it and really don't want it.

Got a recorded message asking me to press 9 if I want out of their list. Problem is, I never signed up for any of this rubbish. Honestly, I wish there was a way to erase these annoying pests completely! - caller ID was unknown, just a recorded voice.

I picked up the call and ended it straight away. Tried ringing back the same number but just got an automated message saying the mailbox was full - the caller ID showed as Unknown.

So what’s the deal with the TPS? Just a useless bit of paper you register with and they tell all those annoying harassers, “Oi, don’t bother our folks or we might just ignore it”? It’s pointless, like putting a toddler in charge of security at the border. Honestly, it feels like TPS profits more from the calls you’re getting than actually stopping them. It’s a scam if you ask me - they get paid just to sit there and do sweet FA. Telephone Preference Service? More like Telephone Pretence Service!
