Today I had a really shocking call that nearly gave me a heart attack! It was one of those automated voicemails, supposedly from my bank, saying over £600 had just been withdrawn from my credit card and sent overseas. I was totally freaked out at first. After pulling myself together, I phoned my bank straight away and they confirmed the message wasn’t from them at all and that my account was fine. What a huge weight off my shoulders! They said it’s likely I was being targeted by scammers. Pretty unsettling, but at least no money was lost!

Got a call from some robo voice claiming £600 had been withdrawn from my account and asking me to press a number to enter my bank info. As if I’m falling for that!
