Received a rather unexpected call earlier, where the person on the other end addressed me by my name-definitely not someone I recognise. They mentioned a company, though the details have completely slipped my mind. I cut them off mid-sentence, making it clear that I wasn't interested and identified them as an unsolicited cold caller. I insisted they take my number out of their records and cease any further communications. However, just a handful of minutes later, my phone rang again with the same nuisance. It’s becoming a real nuisance, as it seems every time I pick up the phone, it’s yet another scam or cold call.
