0132 923129 - best to steer clear of this one! Seems like it’s all automated nonsense.

I received a call from this number, and the caller mentioned my husband by name, requesting to speak with him. However, I've been without him for the past six years, having sadly lost him.

When I picked up the phone, nobody seemed to be on the other end. All I got was a robotic "Goodbye," and then the line went dead. This has happened to me several times now, even receiving similar messages left behind. Curious, to say the least!

Received a call from someone claiming to be Alan Garner, inquiring about issues with my Virginmedia connection. He wanted me to look at the lights on my router to troubleshoot. I explained that I couldn't assist at that moment and ended the conversation.

I received a call from a woman with an Indian accent purporting to be from Openreach. She began inquiring about my BT line and hub settings. When I began to probe further about her identity, she abruptly disconnected the call. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

I just had a rather suspicious phone call from a woman with a distinct Indian accent, claiming to represent BT. She began quizzing me about the lights on my hub, but as soon as I mentioned that I wasn’t sure who she was, she abruptly ended the call. I’m certain it was a scam attempt. Utter nonsense!

I answered the phone to absolute silence. After shouting “hello?” a few times, I finally heard a robotic voice chime in with a curt “goodbye” before they disconnected. Quite peculiar, really.

Received a call claiming to be from BT, supposedly informing me that my computer was under threat of hacking. They insisted on taking remote access to 'resolve' the issue. I firmly told them to go away! Thankfully, they backed off!

I receive calls from this number approximately four times each week, and I indulge them purely for my own entertainment. Each time, they ask me to power up my computer and router so they can 'ensure everything's functioning properly'. It’s quite clear they’re attempting some sort of remote access to my system. So far, they’ve impersonated around twenty different reputable companies, from BT to Microsoft. Thankfully, I recognise them for the deceitful scammers they truly are, but I do worry about the elderly or younger individuals who might unsuspectingly engage with these calls. They are utterly deplorable individuals.

Rung me up and then promptly ended the call as soon as I picked up. If this was indeed Virgin Media, they clearly haven’t a clue who their clientele is!

I got a call from this number earlier today but chose not to pick up because it bore a resemblance to another one that contacted me before – they were trying to rope me into a consumer survey. I'm quite relieved I ignored it! It’s always a nagging thought in the back of your mind that it could be something urgent, so it’s nice to find out that these are just pesky telemarketers.

I've had three calls from this number in the span of just two hours. Every time I answer, it's just dead air followed by a disconnect.
Anyone know who's behind this? It seems clearly automated, as I can't get through when I try to call back.

Had a hunch it might be a salesperson, so I decided to ignore the call this morning.

Absolutely a risk from these fraudulent hackers and scammers, who seem to thrive on the hope that unsuspecting individuals are online when they make their calls. Their goal is to gain remote access, allowing them to infiltrate your system with all manner of malware and intrusive software. Stay savvy and don’t be swayed by their tales, regardless of who they claim to represent. It's crucial to keep in mind that reputable firms like Microsoft, Norton, and other tech manufacturers will never contact you directly at home. Stay vigilant against these schemes!

The BT Call Guardian has successfully barred a certain number, though I just noticed a call attempt from them a few moments back. That number will now be completely shut out, and considering the reports I've seen previously, it's certainly warranted.

I received a call earlier today from the number 01320125478, with the caller claiming to be from my internet service provider, supposedly to discuss an issue I don’t even have. I swiftly hung up and contacted my actual provider directly, who assured me everything was fine on my end. I've attempted to ring that number back thrice, but each time, I’m met with the message that it’s not a valid number. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Had a call from 01320125478 today. An individual with an Indian accent claimed to be representing BT, asking me to inspect the lights on my router. I couldn’t help but think, "There's no way I'm falling for this nonsense." When I voiced my scepticism, he simply replied with a "thank you," and I promptly ended the call. What a palaver!
