A woman who sounded like she might be from India or Pakistan called me, claiming to be from BT and said there was something wrong with my internet speed. Her English was really hard to understand, so I told her to give me her phone number and asked her to talk slowly and clearly. She just started yelling at me instead, so I ended the call and dialled her number back. Of course, it wasn’t connected to BT at all. I made sure to tell the real BT people that their number was being misused.
