Got a call from 0131 875 1505 today, some lady called Jane, sounded Asian, telling me my internet wasn’t working right and that my “BT line” wasn’t giving me the full signal. She wanted me to get on my laptop so she could fix it for me. I told her I’d already checked my download speed and everything looked fine, but she wasn’t having any of it. Then I mentioned I’m actually with Virgin, not BT, and suddenly the call just cut off. Pretty obvious scam, probably would’ve tried to get my bank details if I had kept chatting with her.
