Got a call from a local number with an automated message about some dodgy activity on my card, telling me to press 2 to speak to someone. When I picked up, an Indian bloke asked for my name and date of birth, which made me pretty uneasy. I decided not to give any info and hung up. Looking back, the message didn’t say which card it was about and surely a legit fraud alert wouldn’t come from a local number. Felt dodgy from the start.
