We don't have any ties to Edinburgh (unless the number was faked) and our number is on the TPS list, so proper companies usually don’t bother calling out of the blue. I let it go to voicemail since it was an unknown number, but no message was left - if it was something important or legit, they probably would’ve left one. So I’m pretty sure it was a scam, blocked the number and reported it straight away.
