2 yearsI got a call from the number 01316666883 claiming there were two charges on my RBS account that looked suspicious since I hadn’t made any recent payments. The person said I could stop the payments by pressing 1, so I did and then hung up. Afterwards, I rang RBS’s Fraud Team to check and they said there was no record of those transactions or any calls from that number. I hardly ever use my contactless card but had used it recently at a place called The Pitt in Granton, which only took card as they don’t accept cash.
