I just received a call from a number based in Edinburgh. It was an automated voice purporting to be from Amazon Prime, warning me that my subscription was on the verge of expiring. The thing is, I don’t even have an Amazon Prime account! To top it off, I'm ex-directory and officially registered with the Telephone Preference Service. Clearly, this is a scam!
