Somebody rang me saying they were from O2, wanting to know about my internet and phone signal because apparently there’ve been complaints. Then they said O2 are giving a 40% discount on bills to customers, and asked for my details to confirm. I told them I wasn’t giving out info on the phone and they just ended the call. Seems dodgy to me - definitely a scam!

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent claiming to be from Microsoft, saying there had been suspicious activity on my account. They even knew my name and postcode. Listened to what they had to say for a while but told them I wasn’t buying it and hung up. This was about the third or fourth time I’ve had a call like this. After a quick search online for Microsoft scams, it’s clear it’s just another scam. Changed my password just to be safe anyway.
