Had all the specifics of my Vodafone agreement but turned out to be a total con artist.

Beware, this number 01316189892 is a notorious scammer operating out of Edinburgh.
I received a call from someone claiming to be affiliated with Vodafone, representing Carphone Warehouse.
Their name was Michael, and they provided a supposed employee ID: 8001.
They went on to mention the Vodafone dispatch team, using the numbers +44 7960 090311 and +44 7466 957641.
These absolute fraudsters managed to extract money from my account, having all the right information at their disposal. I barely had to divulge anything as they seemed to have all my details readily available on their end. I was shocked to find out that my funds were transferred to a Western Union in Austria.
They will feign technical difficulties, just to make you repeat your passcode over and over as transactions vanish from your account. I've already lodged complaints with both the Metropolitan Police and Fraud Action in both England and Scotland.
Stay vigilant, as they target those who are most vulnerable.

I received a promotion from them, yet when I inquired about my name, they were unable to provide an answer. Just a heads-up!

I've been inundated with dodgy calls masquerading as Vodafone! It's quite baffling how relentless these con artists can be.

My other half has fallen victim to a bunch of scammers, losing £130 in the process. These chaps were masquerading as Vodaphone representatives, claiming they were helping with new contracts. When we inquired about how to lodge a complaint and asked for the contact details of their manager, they were utterly uncooperative. All the evidence we gathered via WhatsApp clearly indicates their deceit.
Absolutely infuriating, to say the least!

I received a call regarding a £2 discount on my contract, and the chap asked for my email to send a verification code. I didn’t fancy it, so I hung up. Then, to my surprise, he rang me back from a different number in London! He had an Indian accent but was putting in a solid effort to sound American. Quite the amusing encounter, really!

Appears to be a scam caller with a foreign accent, claiming to be from O2, offering a new phone and contract. Lots of noise on the line. When I asked whom to ask for when I contact O2, they simply said "yes", just ring this number. So, beware!

I received a phone call from someone purporting to be from O2, trying to entice me with a phone and a calling plan. The caller had a noticeable accent that wasn’t local, and the line was quite noisy, which set off alarm bells in my head—definitely felt like a dodgy call. When I mentioned that I would prefer to call O2 directly, he provided me with this number, but when I probed about who to ask for, he merely replied, "Just call this number back." Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
