I got a rather suspicious text claiming to be from Halifax Bank, warning me of a significant transaction that someone had supposedly made using my account. It all felt a bit dodgy, if you ask me!

Got a message from a phone number (07752028795) pretending to be my bank (which I’m not even a customer of), saying I’d just authorised a big payment, something around £850. They told me to ring a landline if I had questions. Seems dodgy to me.

Got a text from Halifax earlier saying they’d taken money for HolidayAutos. It had a code and a reference number, and if I hadn’t made the payment, I was told to ring a certain number. Pretty fishy if you ask me.
