I recently came across a certain Eve Kubadya promoting a KitchenAid, and it turns out she's now based in Edinburgh. Not surprising, is it? I've noted down her email: [email protected]. Thankfully, I stumbled upon these warnings prior to handing over any money! Take care, everyone!

Count me in on this! It’s downright shameless, isn’t it?

I've gone ahead and notified the authorities. They ought to be able to trace the payment made through the Paysafe card and follow the trail backwards, but who knows if they’ll actually take any action. Time will tell, I suppose.

I've just fallen victim to a right dodgy scam. Some individual going by the name of Jane Whittaker claimed to have shifted to Edinburgh and was peddling a rather pricey Kitchen Aid mixer on Freecycle. I sent off £30 in paysafe vouchers, but then I started getting uneasy about the additional £50 they wanted for so-called insurance. I really ought to have realised, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is! The emails I got were riddled with terrible English and all in capital letters, a clear red flag I should have noticed sooner, but I've had success with Freecycle before. Now I'm left feeling quite foolish :-(

We got taken for a ride to the tune of 30 quid, and to be honest, we didn't see it coming at all. What a jolt!

I've recently been conned by this rondokerry character, and it's truly disheartening, especially since it was meant to be a gift for my daughter. What a letdown!

I too fell victim to the same email address, [email protected]. They got me with a delivery fee, and then hit me with a £75 insurance charge. That’s when it dawned on me that it was all a con! I’ve made sure to notify those on Freecycle about it!

I came across a listing on Freecycle for a laptop - the cheeky blighter even had the audacity to call it "Lee Evans," which gave me a chuckle! It was supposedly in the Falkirk vicinity, but lo and behold, it turns out they’d 'moved' elsewhere. I’d already forked out £35, only to be hit with an additional request for £75 afterwards! I tend to refurbish laptops to raise money for charity, and this little stunt has regrettably set back my efforts for Maggies Centres by £35. Absolutely livid!

I've just had an unfortunate encounter with the same individual again on 27th August 2015. The phone number has switched up, but it’s now 01316186763, and they’re going by the name Beatrix Comte. What a piece of work!

I recently had a rather dodgy encounter with a woman named Suzie, who attempted to pull a fast one on me. It was uncanny; she employed the identical phrases that others have reported. I’ve taken matters into my own hands, traced her IP address, and passed all the information along to the authorities. Wishing everyone a splendid day ahead!

Would you be so kind as to provide me with the contact details for the Ukash fraud department? Thank you!

I've had a similar experience with them, albeit using a different phone number this time-it's 01316186763. In response, I reached out to webnode.com, the site-building platform they exploited, to inform them of the nefarious use of their services. Fingers crossed they’ll take action and get that website shut down. A classic reminder that if something seems far too enticing, it probably is! :(

If only I had come across this before I got duped. I just parted with £32 for delivery and another £75 for insurance. It was the same email from Petruta Packman again, all orchestrated through Freecycle. A tough lesson to swallow, to say the least.

I really wish I had come across this information prior to being duped. I just parted with £32 for the delivery charge and an additional £75 for insurance. The email seemed to be from the same Theresa Packman, and all of this was through Freecycle. Quite the eye-opening experience, to say the least!

Just like many others have experienced.

This fool seems to think I’d part with £25.00 for a courier service shuttling from Edinburgh to London all because he’s moving! It’s refreshing to have platforms like this that allow folks to caution others who search for phone numbers and such.

We can definitely take action by reporting the freecycle listings (that particular free hybrid bike is still being pushed!)

Absolutely, it’s a dodgy setup. I've just been caught out by it myself.

I've just fallen victim to a scam similar to what's been mentioned earlier. I initially forked out thirty quid, but it didn't take long for me to realise something was amiss when they requested an additional seventy-five. We've already flagged the incident to Ukash, who then directed us to their fraud division. If anyone happens to discover any details about the address linked to this, please do inform me. I’d like to relay that information to the fraud team. Cheers!

I came across a Windows 8 laptop being offered for free on Freecycle, and then out of the blue, I received an email from someone named Rita Smith, requesting payment via Ukash. This raised my suspicions, prompting me to ring the number provided. When I spoke to a chap with a foreign accent, he reiterated the same payment demands. It felt rather dodgy from the outset, so I decided to do a quick search on Google for that number, only to stumble upon a series of discussions revealing it was indeed a scam. I sincerely hope those behind these scams are apprehended. If anyone finds my account of this experience useful or needs further information, please don't hesitate to get in touch!

I find myself in a similar predicament. A chap by the name of Mathew Falwell offered to send me a carbon bike, claiming he had recently moved to Aberdeen. He said he would arrange for it to be sent via btslogistics, which I've since discovered is a dodgy operation. He asked me via email to fork out £30 through ukash and to send a photocopy of the voucher so he could cash it in. Clearly, there’s no bike, and it’s all part of a larger scam. So heed my warning: steer clear of these con artists from Africa and do not part with any of your hard-earned money!

Regrettably, I've found myself in a similar predicament! I sent a £30 voucher to a different chap, calling himself "Anthony Dent," in connection with a MacBook. In a lapse of judgement, I even paid for a courier service to pick it up from him in Edinburgh. However, the courier couldn't locate anyone at the provided address. When I reached out again, he claimed he was out of town that day. Ever since I declined to fork out an additional £75 for insurance, I've had radio silence from him. It seems we may never get the chance to hold these deceitful individuals accountable. If anyone has any suggestions on how to navigate this situation, I’d be immensely grateful! I had an encounter with a chap who goes by the name of Vince. Initially, I forked out £30 in a Ukash voucher, but then he had the cheek to request an additional £75. I decided against sending him that extra amount.

I've also dispatched a £30 Ukash voucher from this individual, and then they demanded an additional £75 on top of that. When I chatted with the person on the other end, their accent came across as either African or quite possibly Nigerian. I absolutely need to escalate this to HMRC. When I attempted to report the matter to the police, they informed me that it falls under civil issues. This incident occurred just last night. After I sent over the £30 Ukash voucher, I tried reaching out to Ukash, but it turns out they're a foreign entity.

I stumbled across this on freecycle.org, from a chap named Vince Shepherd ([email protected]). He’s requesting that I dish out some cash via UKASH, claiming it's for delivery costs. He insists that I snap a photo of the UKASH voucher and send it over to him, so he can deliver the items. Curiously, he directed me to btslogistics7.webnode.com ([email protected]) for this transaction, but I noticed the website seems to have only popped up just yesterday. Quite suspicious, don’t you reckon?

I’ve stumbled upon this number and was informed it supposedly belongs to “BTS Courier.” Is this a dodgy number or a phony business altogether? They’re demanding £105 for delivery and insurance, yet I haven't received a peep from anyone-no parcel, no delivery, absolutely zip! I’m starting to think I should alert HMRC and perhaps the police too! Cheers, Vince 07842126659
