Didn’t know the number but it had my local code, called around lunchtime. A woman with a local accent answered after a few seconds, talking fast about issues with bad loft insulation. When she paused I said no thanks and ended the call. Another number blocked now.

Received a call from a bloke with a thick Scottish brogue. There was quite a bit of noise in the background, hinting it might be a call centre of sorts. When I inquired about the purpose of the call, he took on a rather disrespectful tone. I didn’t waste any time and ended the call right there.

Got a call from someone saying they were with Loft Survey Scotland, sounded like they had a proper Scottish accent. As soon as I said I’d look them up online to find out more, they just ended the call straight away. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

They called me like five times in a row, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up straight away.

I didn’t pick up the phone but looked up the number later when I got in. Loads of bad reviews showing it’s probably some broadband scam, which makes sense coz I’ve had three different texts from them saying my city fibre is being installed either today or tomorrow, with a link to check stuff. I haven’t clicked or replied to any of it since I never asked for any changes to my broadband.

I ignored the call but looked up the number later on when I was home. It had a load of negative feedback, mostly about broadband scams, which fits with the three texts I got claiming my area's fibre is being installed today or tomorrow. I had a rather peculiar encounter with a gentleman who had a pronounced Asian accent. He started prattling on about my monthly internet charges and claimed he could help me lower them.
