Someone called asking for a specific person, and when I told them they had the wrong person, they just cut the call off. Typical scam behaviour if you ask me.

I got a call from 01316080817 about renewing a home plan. It sounded dodgy because the guy knew my name and even what the plan was for - a washing machine. Earlier in the week, he’d phoned my husband and asked to talk to me since the plan’s under my name. I then rang the company I'm actually with to check and told them about it. The big red flag was when the caller said it’d just be a one-time payment - felt like a total scam.

Never heard them ask for a Mr Blan or anything close to that. Seems like they avoid giving actual names when they call. Pretty fishy if you ask me.
