Some company must have gotten hold of your info from some random place. When I was a kid, this phone number was under my mum's name, and these days they still ring up asking for her. She hasn’t been linked to this number for like 15 years now.

This was definitely a scam call. They mentioned some free magazine subscription, Investors Magazine or something like that. They even read out my email and street, but the house number was wrong. They kept pushing me to confirm the right one, which felt really dodgy.
