i got a call from a glasgow number, 0141 255 1803, saying they were from motor assist and that their head office is in edinburgh. has anyone else experienced a call like this?

There was this persistent bloke with an Indian accent trying to convince me about some accident I supposedly had. I kept telling him to take my number off their list but he just wouldn’t stop. Eventually, I just gave up and ended the call.

Got a call from some MVA motor insurance lot. They kept pushing and hinted that if I didn’t chat with them, things wouldn’t just disappear since apparently, they’ve already got an open case. Proper annoying!

some bloke with a british accent rang me up, said it was about a car crash i'd supposedly been in. he knew my name, but when i asked where he got my number from, he just started talking over me. then he turned quite rude, so i ended the call and blocked him straight away.

I've blocked this number on my phone but it still manages to ring a few times before cutting off. It’s really frustrating especially when I’m waiting for an important call from the hospital on a 0131 number.

Got a call from someone saying they’re owed money from an insurance claim for a car crash. They only had my name and a postcode that was wrong. Didn’t know when the accident was or any other specifics. Seemed really dodgy to me.

The caller kept asking for someone else entirely. Definitely felt like a spam call to me.
