I got a call saying they were from Visa and that there was a £600 purchase on my card just about 15 minutes ago, and it was linked to an overseas account.

Just got a call from 0131 581 6850 - the guy said he was Ryan Murphy from some legal department in MA UK insurance or something. He was chatting about a crash I supposedly had in the past 30 months and was saying I could claim £1500 compensation or more. His accent was proper Midlands or maybe Northern English. Sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Beware of those accident claim calls. They'll say you could get some pay out, then want your card info right after. It's a complete con! Don’t ever share your details by phone.

No voicemail left, so probably not a legit call. Just blocked it.

Got a call from a number 0315815446, and some bloke with an Asian accent was on the other end, saying he was from an accident emergency claims service. He didn’t bother giving his name or any real details. Definitely sounded like a dodgy phishing scam to me.

this guy said he was from some place called national accident advice, said it was a gov agency or something. he kept saying he needed to close my case about an accident that wasnt my fault. he only had my phone number, nothing else about me or the accident. when i said it sounded dodgy he just cut the call. pretty weird if you ask me.

Got a call from an Asian guy saying I’d been in an accident but he wouldn’t give any details like who was involved or the insurance firm. He kept pushing me, getting a bit rude as he went on about accident claims. Ended up hanging up on me mid sentence. Proper annoyance.

Not sure who’s been ringing but they've called me twice a day for the past three days.

So I got a ring once yesterday, twice the day before that, and today as well. All about some car crash they say I was in or something. And surprise surprise, I’ve never been in any accident at all.
