I had a rather odd experience with a phone call earlier. The woman on the other end claimed they were conducting a survey and wanted to gather my views on certain topics. Then, rather cheekily, she asked me for my name! I couldn't help but wonder how they could gauge the value of my opinion if they didn’t even know who I was calling. At that point, I simply decided to end the conversation. What's the point of cold calling if you haven't a clue who you're speaking to?
