When i rang back, they said i had the wrong number.

Flat inquiries... A woman on the line claimed to be from the Bank of Scotland. Strangely, she had my last name! I’ll be sure to look into this number again later.

I received a call from someone sporting a heavy accent, but the line was so poor I couldn't make out a single word he was saying. He mentioned something about progressing with my application and offered to enhance my package. I politely told him to clear off. Total scam, in my opinion!
