I've got loads of calls just like this lately. They claim there were two purchases on my card - one about £300 and another near a grand - and tell me to press 1 if I want to cancel them. Sounds to me like one of those sneaky calls that fail at scamming but still try to get your card info. The automated voice is always the same every time. Even though I've signed up for the TPS (which honestly does nothing), and put in a complaint, they said they can't do much since the caller never says their company name or it falls outside what they're allowed to handle. Such a waste!
