In the past few days, I've had three calls from this number, and every time, the person just hung up right when my voicemail kicked in. Pretty sure I don't know anyone from "Edinburgh" with that 01315 code either.

Just got a call from a lady with what sounded like an Asian accent, she said something about my computer. When I told her I don’t even have one, she just ended the call straight away! Weird.

I've been receiving calls from this number at the crack of dawn, and it's becoming rather bothersome. Strangely enough, there’s no one on the other end when I answer. It's quite unsettling, to say the least!

Right away, I knew it was a scam because Microsoft's built-in security is pretty solid for spotting viruses and malware. I pretended to go with it for a bit, but then I told her it was a fraud. When she argued it wasn’t, I claimed I didn’t even use a Microsoft PC (which wasn’t true). Just like that, she ended the call!

I had the misfortune of receiving a call from this number on a bank holiday at the crack of dawn, around 8:15am, and it roused everyone in the house! The person on the other end pretended to be from Microsoft, claiming they needed to assist with a virus they supposedly detected on my computer. What a load of nonsense! Clearly, it’s just a scam aiming to extract my banking information. Stay alert, folks; these pesky nuisances are not worth your time! Best bet is to hang up straight away and steer clear of any further conversation.

I got this call and it was obviously a scam, they were trying to get into my laptop and pinch my online bank stuff. When I called the bloke out on it, he just swore at me and said he’d block my PC, proper laugh!

I've had a couple of missed calls from this number but haven't managed to have a conversation. Quite frustrating, really, especially since I'm also on the do not call list.

Totally a scam. Got a phone call this morning around 8am from 01315258599. Like others mentioned here, the caller claimed to be from Microsoft warning me about a virus on my PC. I didn't buy it and challenged him, which seemed to make him uneasy. Before that, he actually read out my computer licence number - something like 888DCA60FC0A11CF8F0F00C0########. He kept insisting I should check it right away, but I told him I’d do it later myself and would contact Microsoft properly. He threatened I'd lose my computer if I didn’t, but I just told him to get lost. In the end, he just hung up.

Had a bit of fun with the caller, asked straight up for the business address, the manager’s name, and their website. Told them I’d be sending over an invoice for £1000 for taking my time, according to my terms and conditions.

This number called me three times already. On the fourth time I picked up, a lady with a noticeable Asian accent claimed she was from Microsoft in California. She told me there was a virus on my computer and asked me to switch it on so she could help fix it over the phone. I said I’d have my son contact Microsoft to check if the call was genuine and then ended the call. No voicemail or message was left, which made me even more suspicious. Turns out, it was exactly what I thought - a scam! Glad I didn’t fall for it.

It's the second occasion I've encountered this. An Asian-sounding individual feigning to be a Windows technician claimed there was an issue with my laptop. The first attempt had me listening to a load of nonsense, but this latest call? I gave them a curt reply of just two words.

It's the classic "this is Microsoft Windows calling..." spiel again. Whenever you attempt to return the call to this number, you end up in Linda Gillespie's voicemail. What a hassle!

I had a rather peculiar phone call earlier today from the number listed above. A female voice on the line claimed to be representing Microsoft from the States, stating there was an issue with my computer. However, after posing a few straightforward questions, it became apparent she was unable to provide satisfactory answers, raising my suspicions. I promptly decided to end the call.
