Today, on Sat 23/5/15 around 12:12pm, this number 0131 516 2878 rang me. We're on the do not call list, registered with TPS. The person said they got our number somehow and was just calling through. When I asked where the number came from, they mentioned a national database. I kindly told them I wasn't interested in continuing the call.

Got a call from a firm trying to sell replacement windows. When I told them my number was unlisted and that I’m on the telephone preference service, they said it didn’t apply to them. Asked for their full company info, they said Household Energy Services but wouldn’t give me an official phone number. After that nonsense, I had enough and told them in no uncertain terms to buzz off.
