The thing is, that other site just alerts you about calls but doesn’t actually stop them. The TPS is the one who can actually take action against these nuisances. Cheers!

A company selling windows called me, I told them straight up I don’t take spam calls and asked them to take my number off their list. I hardly ever share my home phone, so I was pretty annoyed about the bother.

This caller claimed to be from a window firm and oddly enough, they knew I lived at the address! When I told them to stop calling and to take my number off their list, I just hung up. Weirdly, almost no one else has this number, so surprised they got it.

Just got a call from Clara Basket claiming she was with Windows UK, trying to sell me a discount on their insurance. Asked if I could ring her later, and she was quite nice, actually gave me the company’s name and number - 08008882368 - when I asked for it. She seemed fully prepared for me to check if she was genuine. After doing a bit of digging myself, I don't trust her at all and won’t be calling back. Scammers sure do waste my time and drain my patience, but these days they don’t usually manage to scam me out of any cash.

Could be dodgy, maybe a scam, but there’s a chance it’s some sort of survey company like MORI based in Edinburgh. Either way, be cautious.

I got a call from someone claiming they were from "Windows Limited," but I checked and that company has been removed from the register recently. They kept asking about my house ownership and how old the windows are, but whenever I tried to get info back from them, they dodged my questions. They also insisted they had an offer "in your area" which sounded quite fishy.
