Got a call from some bloke saying he was Alan from EE offering to help with an upgrade on my package. Bit cheeky really, cos I did that just a couple months back. EE surely would've got that info already since I’m one of their customers. No way I’m up for another upgrade so quick.

They rang and wanted to speak to someone who wasn’t me, and when I told them they’d got the wrong person, they just ended the call straight away. Kinda blunt, but I guess you can’t really expect much else from telemarketers these days.

I've recently received a call from someone claiming to be from Compare the Networks. They were inquiring whether I was getting the best mobile phone deal possible, and suggested they could assist me with that. However, I wasn't expecting the call at all, so it felt quite unsolicited. Quite unexpected, really!

Got a call from some company pushing phone systems. They never left a voicemail. So when I called back, I was met with some robotic voice spouting off about a network comparison service - felt like a dodgy scam to me.
