They definitely aren’t connected to the companies they mention. If you can, get caller ID and just ignore calls from unknown numbers. It's really annoying, isn't it?

I'm sorry for the use of capital letters, but it's necessary to highlight the problem with this malicious caller. The number is connected to at least 30 other landline numbers that all claim to represent various energy saving schemes. However, these calls are fraudulent and their main objective is to obtain your personal information under the guise of an "energy survey." They are sly and cunning. I highly recommend investing in a caller ID feature for your landline. Although there is a monthly cost of around £2, it is definitely worth it. In addition, make sure to keep your answering machine on at all times and only answer calls from individuals you recognize. It is crucial that you never disclose any personal or banking details over the phone. These fraudsters can be extremely annoying and should not be trusted. They are nothing more than deceitful swindlers. ARGHHHH!

However, such callers are often unwilling to disclose their identity or provide accurate details about their company, so obtaining a company name can be quite challenging. It would be wonderful if we had a regulatory body that actually had the power to enforce stricter regulations.
